The BECKHAM x BOSS collaboration returns for Fall/Winter 2025, presenting its second chapter as a sophisticated and versatile wardrobe for the winter season, seamlessly blending the former footballer’s UK heritage styling with modern sensibility. Co-designed by global icon David Beckham, the collection is a deeply personal project, reflecting his evolved taste from streetwear to luxe. The ethos of the collection is best understood through the lens of the style icon himself.

For David Beckham, the inspiration was drawn from a sense of home and comfort. “Right from the early stages of development, I wanted to create a collection inspired by the feeling I get when I am at home in the countryside in the colder months,” he explains. His vision of this second BOSS collaborative collection translated into an earthy palette and luxurious textures. “I love winter collections. I love layering things. I love wool, cashmere, and similar materials. Camel colors and the chocolate browns and navies – all of the things that I love.”

This personal influence is the cornerstone of the collection, reflecting his style in shaping the designs. Beckham describes it, “My personal tastes and style definitely changed over the last 20, 30 years.” While Beckham can genuinely reminisce about his style in his younger years, he has matured in ways that translate his authentic style.
Beckham admits his desire to create this collection and a personal bond to the pieces. “It makes me really happy because I then realized that we’ve made a lot of great pieces. One of the things I was actually really excited about was the corduroy suit. I love corduroy suits. I think people, the men and women that wear corduroy suits, always look cool, you know, effortlessly cool.”
He further shares an adoration for the winterwear, stating “the double-breasted cashmere jacket, which is one of my favorites, [and] a lot of the knits! I love a good knit. I love a good cashmere knit.” The collection’s rugged boots, styled with cargo pants, also rank highly for him within a wardrobe built for refined elegance and rustic escapes.

“Obviously, being slightly older now, it’s a lot more classic than anything, you know, in colors, in fabrics, and in looks.” He remains open to inspiration, even drawing inspiration from his family. “I still try to push boundaries on certain things.”
He details, “The oversized trousers are something I actually got an idea from one of my kids because Cruz loves these oversized trousers with a smart double-breasted jacket. So I got the idea from him.”

The result is a curated edit of timeless pieces designed to last beyond a single season. Beckham explains his philosophy on this, “I’m a creature of habit. If I find a great pair of trainers, I’ll wear them forever. And that’s what we’re trying to create here.” This mindset revitalized popular items from the first collection, like the coveted sneakers, while introducing new staple pieces.

The campaign, shot by legendary photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, perfectly captures this blend of heritage and modernity on familiar grounds for Beckham. “Working with Mert and Marcus, I’ve done it for years, and we always come up with interesting concepts and things that we feel are going to last for a long time,” Beckham explains. Set in a stately 18th-century London home, the location was a deliberate choice to mirror the collection’s soul. “We found this incredible old house; beautiful high ceilings, beautiful windows. It was a huge house, but then we just shot in one room. The end product was amazing.”

“I don’t just want it to be around for this season and then forgotten,” he affirms. “You want to continue to kind of put things in our collections as well, continue the success of obviously some of the items, and hopefully most of the items.”
